I agree with removing the laces. I also say, washer, shoes, boots, whatever with plain water first. Duh. Remove laces, and then apply mixture whatever kind you think works, because you obviously can’t agree on it.

I’m still not happy with everyone’s different theories on the amount of silicone to mineral spirits ratio, or NAPTHA, whatever. WHICH WORKS BEST? NO ONE SEEMS TO AGREE WITH EACH OTHER. THAT’S PRETTY SHAKY. I, am going to go with what I heard two times in a row one day about six months ago. 1/3 of a caulk tube per quart of mineral spirits. You people are freaking weirdos. My return would lose flow every half hour...it's a brand new hayward pump with a hayward 100 lbs sand filter... I changed the sand and bought a new lateral for it... after days of frustration I took the top off the filter and it was filled to the top with water.... I'm draining it now and will replace sand... I don't know what to do next if this continues!!!

make sure to get a metal adapter for the hose then to pvc thread so the garden hose doesn’t constantly strip the pvc plastic. i glued the two together and a couple of feet of pipe on one end and it works beautifully

There goes the breathability of the boots. It’s like putting your boots inside a garbage bag and your feet will profusely sweat in it. It’s not hard to make something waterproof, making something we wear breathable is the key. That’s why goretex and other wp membranes are expensive.

I got one similar at Home Depot but it leaks. I already replace it twice. I build a water sprinkler system with 3/4 pvc. That’s is the only part that leaks the one connected to the water supply.

Omw!!! I have the hardest time cutting straight lines on balsa or basswood or the acrylic plastics in your video!! They always come out jagged and trying to sand them. Evenly is impossible! And this makes everything I create completely lopsided! I had one of those acrylic plastic cutting tools and it didn’t do a damn thing. Maybe I just didn’t know how to use it.and I have the box cutter and some other ones like it but every single time I try to cut the wood or the plastic, my knife jumps ship and scratches up everywhere, but where I wanted it to cut completely ruining the wood or the plastic! I have a sonic electric cutting knife and even that I can’t cut a straight line although it is easier than the other non-electric knives or blades. I just started doing miniature crafts last August for my A-frame Barbie doll house. And I am making her bathroom from scratch. I tried it all with foam board and it turned out so so. But I had trouble putting hinges on any doors because it was foam board. They would rip out when I would try to open the door. So a few weeks ago, I decided to make it all out of balsa wood. And once again, I can’t cut a straight line to save my damn life! So I’m almost done with it. I have to cut the shower door. I cut the side windows of the shower out of plastic and I use the sonic knife and thought it was even and it wasn’t. What I did was put transparent pink vinyl over it, which is what I want to do to the door. I saw this on the Barbie Dreamhouse challenge last year on HGTV. I loved the bathroom that they did. So I’m trying to mimic it. I wish I could cut the plastic evenly. I’m ready to cry. My husband tried to cut it last fall for a small miniature fake aquarium I was making. And we tried a bunch of times with his tablesaw and still got it screwed up! That’s probably just life telling me to give up.

Great except what is flexbond? Internet comes up with a few different things that are not all the same. A scenic glue, and acrylic based filler you mix with cement. I bet its this though, FlexBond® Premium Crack Prevention Thin-set Mortar? Give us a clue!

Best way. 5 parts liquid paraffin - 1 part beeswax or parafin wax.

This works great, I do it with all my tools and vacs, but I'll also add, you are loosing a lot of suction by going up in diameter. You should only go down in size as you move away from the vacuum.
